Laine, English, Portuguese and Spanish speaker, Brazilian cosmetologist, semi-permanent makeup expert, instructor since 2004, member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation, and, now founder of Laine’s Beauty Center, became a lover of beauty in her teen years. Drawing eyebrows on notebook covers was a true hobby, at that time she couldn’t imagine how far she would get with that…

At 17 years old, she started working at a beauty salon and improved her skills until she realized that her dream was to work for herself and she did so. Over time she found a school that offered permanent makeup classes. Because she did not have enough eyebrow threads to form a good shape, she was obsessed with finding something that would last more than
makeup.

She got her first course in micropigmentation in 2003. There she was able to learn how to do permanent makeup of eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. She finally found something fulfilling and realized it was what she wanted to work with. Ten years went by, and she did more and more research about permanent makeup, different products, and various techniques until she
became an instructor of permanent makeup and opened her micropigmentation school. Laine became one of the most recognized permanent makeup artists in Brazil, her home country.

“Why not work outside of the country?” she thought. And, again, so she did! Realizing her most genuine dream, Laine`s Beauty Center was created to attend to people who need all kinds of support. Counting 3 manicurists, a tattoo artist, an eyelash extension specialist, and Laine herself, Laine’s Beauty Center wants to invite you to come in and feel your true beauty from inside and out!

Nowadays she always says that she truly loves her job and that it feels like therapy.
